Vibration caused plug to back out completely ceasing effectiveness of equipment.
Use Description
The plugs are used in conjunction with water and sewer line cleaning equipment. The "spray" plug in the nozzle would back out and become separated from the housing. Loss of pressure and cleaning effectiveness resulted. The operation would have to shut down until the plug was located and replaced.
Solution
Zero-Leak Gold Plugs were modified to create a spray pattern at the nozzle end of the cleaning fixture.
Results
The Zero-Leak Gold Plug remains in place and allows the cleaning to continue without shut downs for missing parts.

Vibration caused plugs to loosen and back out.
Use Description
The trench plow is used to make a trench in the ocean floor for communication cable. The process involves the use of robotics. The working environment temperature is about 35 degrees C and has moderate vibration. The plugs are installed in a bearing housing. Any leaks presented the opportunity for the creation of serious maintenance and scheduling problems. Either of these situations could be costly in money and time.
Solution
Zero-Leak Gold aluminum -04 socket head plugs were installed. The ZLGP are anodized.
Results
No leaks have been reported.
